BASIC BIRD AND GUN INTRO.
Our training is
aimed at getting your young dog 6-12months a head start on there career working for you, includes introduction to birds getting them hunting with great desire, holding there points until you get to them, and careful introduction to the gun.
This is what every young pup needs, we use lots of birds and bring out there prey drive so that when they are afield they HUNT birds for you.
We introduce the Gun under optimal conditions while they are focused on birds thus eliminating dogs with fear of the Gun.
Gun shy Dogs are made not born and proper handling of this introduction eliminates the possibility of problems
Please do not take your dog to the shooting range to introduce them to gunfire let us do it at the right time with great care.

The Llewellin Breed
At C Fox Llewellin Setters we offer world class puppies and started dogs for sale as well as a complete gun dog training program.
It is advisable to reserve a puppy in advance due to high demand and the limited availability of our fine gun dogs each year.
Our dam, C Fox Lady Grace is a wonderful Grouse Dog. Last season she had well over 100 productive points on Grouse. She is used daily as a Guide dog for both wild and liberated preserve birds.
The Sire we breed to is Hi Flyin Sir Royal Flush. Royal is a proven producer with tons of bird experience and walking trial wins.
These dogs live to please you and hunt for the gun; they are very biddable.

COMPLETE GUN DOG TRAINING
This program is 4 weeks of 2-3 times training daily.
This 2-3 month program for dogs who have had a good start but need the control to become your hunting partner and work for the gun with good manners.
It includes Silent command training, Whoa under all conditions, Handling in the field, Staunchness on point, Stop to flush, Backing, and Steady to wing, some of you will desire a fully broke dog (steady to Wing and Shot) this is a short addition. Hunt with your dog without shouting, screaming, whistling, you will be able to work the woods and fields without verbal commands so you do not ruin your day afield.
FORCE FETCH we will insure your dog WILL retrieve to you under all conditions not just they feel like it a must for the competitive dog.
We train on 600+ acres of private land plus thousands of acres of state forest Grouse Cover at our back door with cover to suit training a Grouse dog or Prairie country bird dog
